The Buyer TourOnce a buyer decides he/she wants to know more about a business opportunity, it is time for the buyer and seller to meet. This is done through a buyer tour. The tour usually takes about an hour and is done at the actual business location. It is often done after business hours to help maintain the confidential nature of the business sale. The buyer tour is relatively low-key. It is not the time to go into details--that comes later, after an offer is made during the due diligence period. The next logical step after the Buyer Tour is to make an offer with Earnest Money. Once the offer is on the table, the Seller knows the Buyer is serious and will disclose more information.
